Freaking out because of aching gland

So a few weeks ago I got a cold, which included pain in one of the glands in the front of my neck. The cold went away, but I am still having the pain off and on. Could this be allergies? I'm trying not to let my HIV fears come back, as my oral and blood tests were both negative. Any advice?

Take an OTC antihistamine and see if it helps. Allergies are brutal this year (at least where I'm at!).
