Surgery tomorrow - scared!

So my surgery is finally tomorrow after waiting for so long but I'm now terrified of dying or having a major complication well! I wish I could sleep all day today to deal with it but I have to do bowel Prep (I'm having my colon removed ) so definitely no sleeping

Surgery is never fun and it's understandable to be anxious. Let them know and ask for something to help chill you out. If you're doing a prep, you'll be too busy running to the bathroom to be nervous and too exhausted afterwards not to sleep ;)

Thanks. It's going to be a major life changer as i will be getting a permanent ileostomy. I just hope I don't regret it
