Sicky burp mean I'm going to be sick?

About half an hour ago I ate some olive oil breadsticks, I was then just sitting the sofa when sudden I had a burp and felt vomit come up my throat, I wasn't actually sick but it made my throat and nose burn and now when I cough I can still taste the foul taste in my mouth. I'm freaking out because ever since I was a kid I have had a bad fear of vomiting, does this mean I will be sick? My throat still burns but I'm burping normally now. I'm feeling sick now though.

It sounds like just a bit of stomach acid coming back up, which does burn and tastes really sour. It's quite common and doesn't mean you're going to be sick. Sounds like something you ate disagreed with your stomach. Have a drink of water to take the unpleasant taste away.

Food is never as good the 2nd time around ;) It's just an acid burp... no biggie. Take a swig of Mylanta.
