I'm on holiday at the moment and trying not to freak myself out but am failing. I've been suffering with lower back pain quite a lot lately but right now what with so much walking, it's become close to unbearable unless I sit down regularly. I also feel like my right thigh is bruised and there is a pinching/soreness around my hip. Is it likely to just be muscular/nerve? I'm paranoid that it's either DVT from the flight or an inflamed organ or something. Any encouraging words would be appreciated.

Probably not organ related if it's irritated by movement (walking). Have you tried rolling the lower back muscles out on a foam roller and utilizing massage? They have decent electronic massagers you can buy, certainly not as effective as actual massage therapy, but better than nothing.

Could simply be tight lower back muscles or maybe, worst case scenario, a back injury. If it persists without 'any' improvement have an xray to see if they can detect a back injury.

Back pain so common. I have it right now from weight training.
