Mucous

Hi every 3 weeks or so i get sone clear white mucus in the toilet. My bowel movements are normal and im concerned this is cancer or something. Is mucus just normal lubrication for the bowel. I know it can be a sign of ibs and other things but doesnt seem to mention cancer. Have you any knowledge on this ?

I've been having it for over a decade and I've had roids for about 20 years.

I've found it comes more when you strain or have loose stools when you don't pass much.

If it were a cancer symptom you can bet it would be clearly mentioned.

Nothing to worry about then
