View Full Version : Difference between rational thoughts and reassurance seeking?
I'm working through some anxiety still about my lymph nodes and I'm confused about what is reassurance and what is using rational thinking. I have a list of thoughts I came up with my therapist that I'm supposed to use. Firstly, sometimes they don't even make a dent in my anxiety. Secondly, are these thoughts reassurance seeking? Sometimes I have my mom go over them with me. Wanted some thoughts
What are the thoughts your therapist has suggested?
