Hello,
I had a tooth extracted 64 hours ago. It was going ok and I have been taking no painkillers as it has felt not too bad. Last night (which was 48 hours), my gums (just at tooth site) have begun to be extremely tender and sore. Previous 2 nights I slept fine but last night it woke me if I slept on that side. Woken today and gum is aching and feels swollen.
Don't think it is dry socket as the actual hole is fine and I can see clot still in it. It's gum on outside.
I am on antibiotics already, don't smoke or drink and have been doing water/salt rinse like told by dentist.
Is this normal?
Any advice would be helpful. Thankyou.
