View Full Version : How many time until symphtoms
I was wondering "hypothetically" how many time does it take to develop symphtoms like night sweats, fever, loss of apetite once you get lymphoma. My neck lymph nodes are still a little enlarged (about 1-1.5cm) after 5 years and they are here to don't ever leave... still same size.
Any idea? :) thanks!

This is a specific health question for this forum and I would advise you to go see a specialist in case you're worrying that you might have lymphoma. Swollen lymph nodes can mean many things, what matters is that you indicate what other symptoms you are experiencing.
I think after five years you'd know about it...
Doctors can't find anything, and I have no other symphtoms. They performed ultrasound, full blood test, hiv, mono, and other infections, all negative. Do I need a 6th doctor?
What I can tell you is that my lymph nodes are there, so it's not me creating random stuff because of my HA. So idk what to expect :/
Those are "normal" sized nodes.
Cancer is an uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells. It doesn't come and go nor does it stop once it starts.

But when I searched information about one of my supraclavicular lymph nodes (which I don't know if it's supraclavicular because it's in my back, doctors say supraclavicular nodes are always cancer. I'm afraid, Mr. HA came back :(
There is no explanation for what I have... how is it possible if science and medicine improved a lot.

Let me just tell you this; I am no doctor but I have met quite a few young people with lymphoma in my life, all of them developed serious health issues within a short period of time. Your description of experiencing swollen lymph nodes for 5 years with no other symptoms seems nothing like it.

Ummm... supraclavicular lymph nodes are not on you back :lac:
You truly can let this go. I'm a survivor. You would not be here if it were untreated cancer for 5 years.
