I have had jaw and chest pain for many months with palpitations etc my doctor sent me for a echocardiogram not because he thought I needed it but just to shut me up really. Well the results came back and it stated I have a very mild lvsd otherwise known as left ventricular systolic dysfunction I was just wondering if anybody knew anything about it my doctor explained but he seemed very vague. I have been referred to a cardiologist now. Here are the full results

That's best left for the cardiologist to explain or call your doctor to get a better explanation.

I was told I had bordeline diastolic dysfunction after echo 2 years ago. I was already at specialist cardio and he totally dismissed it and said that scans are so very sensitive now they pick up stuff that just wasn't seen before.
I have lost 3 stones in weight since then to reduce any strain on heart but cardio was totally unbothered by it!
Whatever you have the main word is MILD.
