Hey guys, I was just told last week that I have mild left ventricular hypertrophy. I've always had heart palps, light headed and dizziness. I feel like since my diagnosis, everything has been amplified. I went to a cardiologist yesterday who didn't seem concerned whatsoever. Just said my bad anxiety causes my blood pressure to go up. But I'm terrified that I'm going to fall over and die any moment. Not to mention I leave for vacation tomorrow. Ugh.

Treating your anxiety, thus reducing stress levels and BP will go a long way in treating this condition.

No, you're fine. As has been mentioned, control BP (such as through eliminating anxiety) to minimize further hypertrophy. I don't know if it can be reversed, but maybe it can be. Either way, just take care of yourself appropriately. Follow any recommendationa from the doc/cardiologist.
