Is she tired? she looks so pale
almost squealing like a whale
she scans her life from start to end
but there's never been a nasty bend

before the fading of the night
she makes a wish to the star so bright
before the dawning of the day
she couldn't help but fade away

* this was the second poem i ever wrote but the first poem i loved and i memorised it. i was very close to my gran, the only person in my life who showedme love ( lots of it ) sadly i had planned to read this at her funeral but that got very rough and violent so i sneaked away. i know this poem off by heart and know my gran would have liked to read it. *
