Opera web browser and access to chat

I am wondering if anyone else, who doesn't use Internet Explorer, is having problems getting into the chatroom.

The web browser I use is Opera and was accessing the chat room with it without any problems up to a week ago. Now I can't access chat through Opera at all but I logged into IE and can get into the chatroom through that.

Anyone have any thoughts as why I suddenly can't get into chat using Opera? It is a nuisance to have to log out of Opera and log into IE just to get into the chatroom here on nmp.

Any advice appreciated.

Hi Phil, oh I am embarrassed now! I checked several times that I had the lastest version of Opera installed and was sure that I had. But when you mentioned you were using Opera 9.20, I checked again (though I was sure I had 9.20 too but lo and behold, I had Opera 9.02 installed :blush: :blush: :blush: It seems me anxiety is so bad at the mo that I am reading numbers backwards :ohmy:

Well I installed opera 9.2 and now am accessing the chat room without any problems so thumbs up to you Phil :yesyes: :yesyes: :yesyes: Bye for now, Eibhlin

I did notice a Java Update installed on my computer sometime last week. May be worthwhile checking you have the latest Java too.
