Hi
I was feeling heart palpitations and tired (was super anxious due to health anxiety issue) so I went to my doctor. ECG shows LEFT VENTRICULAR HYPERTROPHY. Now she is sending me for more tests. I'm afraid to google due to my health anxiety. I'm only 37, female and skinny. I'm borderline diabetic and have a little above bad chlorestorone. I will keep up with my diet and exercise but is this a condition that I can live with or treatable?

Thanks

It can be a health problem but also exercise can create it naturally.

So nobody knows if it's a problem -- or even if it actually is what the ECG suggests -- until you have further tests.

Hope it goes well. :)

How often do you exercise and how long have you been exercising for?

Hi, (this is my first post in many a year, so you're honoured!)
I was diagnosed with LVH quite a few years ago, only thing was I wasn't told!
I only found out as I have had my symptoms reappear and went to speak to my doctor. Only thru old cardiology reports did I find out!
Apparently its nothing too serious, I'm quite tall(male) and this can explain it, also i have little meat on my bones on my chest and the cardiogram machine can slightly misread when performing a reading.
Hope this helps, I wouldn't worry about it.
