Hi Melvin! It's never specifically been diagnosed as such, but I have a small hiatus hernia which causes acid reflux which leads to throat symptoms. I very rarely get heartburn but used to get a bit of the nausea.

Throat wise, before I went on Esomeprazole, I used to get (still get at times, especially recently when I reduced ppi dose): throat clearing, mucus in the throat, throat dryness, post nasal drip, lump feeling (at worst ), complete loss of appetite (at worse, due to anxiety), sore throat for a while, occasional hoarseness. I had an endoscopy which came out with no Barrett's or nasties seen, no redness, erosion or inflammation just a small hiatus hernia.
