Scared about a cannula

Hello guys. I am from Romania and I went to the hospital because i was feeling bad, cause i've had a stomach ache and nausea. The doc put me on IV treatment and I'm anxious because i haven't payed attention at the nurse and I don't know if the cannula was a new one. Also, I'm having anxiety about this stomach ache which comes and goes and the big pancreatic C is always in my head, like the HIV fear over the cannula. Please help me, I'm only an 18yo teen whose anxiety is insane atm.

Had to look up "cannula" :) Unless Romania has remained in the dark ages, they use sterile needles and equipment just like the rest of the civilized world ;) So are you 17 or 18? I saw conflicting posts.
