Itch in chest

Does anyone feel like they have an itch in the middle of their chest maybe kind of close to their stomach? Ive had it since I threw up maybe a week ago and its just been persisting since. Ive never really had issues with GERD or acid reflux, does this sound like a symptom for those who have experienced it? I went to the doctor yesterday and they listened to my heart and lungs and said they were perfect, the doctor didn't seem worried about the itching sensation at all. I have no history of asthma.
