Forgive me if this sounds completely ridiculous (which I hope it does!) but last night I was biting my nails out of stress and I swallowed part of the nail I had chewed off (to be honest, I've done this countless times in my life, probably often without realising). However, this time I've gotten it into my head that I actually INHALED it and the fingernail bit I bit off is now in my lungs. Now I'm petrified that this will result in aspiration pneumonia...please help me :(
