So I'm 26 and when I vomit I go into afib for some weird reason.
But when I go into afib my heart rate jumps up 150-170 bpm, and after reading about all this I learned that afib if left untreated for long periods of can cause heart failure because of the fast heart rate.
So about how long would it take for a fast heart rate to cause heart failure? I've heard of many people having fast heart rates for weeks without any complications.
I never intend on not treating the afib if it ever happens again, but I'm just curious about how long it would take.
