Terrified of skin cancer

Has anyone ever had anything that looked like the attached photo? This showed up on my lower leg about 3 weeks ago. It's not growing but I'm terrified!

Anyone have any thoughts? I'm going down the rabbit hole here :-(

I think only a derm can tell you exactly what it is. Make an appointment and don't google. There are so many kinds of skin leisons and most are benign. If you have only had it for a few weeks that is good news just find out what it is and get it treated.

I went to my doctor this morning and she's thinking squamous cell and referred me to a plastic surgeon to have it excised. Can anyone please let me know if you have experience with this. As you can expect, my anxiety is through the roof! Thanks.

Supposed to be very treatable. Let me know that everything worked out for you :) sending positive thoughts

Squamous is very treatable like Christy said. They will cut it out, and cut a portion around it to make sure they have clean margins. Having only been there for 3 weeks is a good thing!
