I've had these symptoms for about 6 weeks now. Getting scared that this is something serious. Have been to the doctor who seems to think this is a ear problem and has given me some tablets Prochlorperazine. This is the second course of these he's given me. Has said that it may take weeks to sort things out but going to refer me to specialists in ENT if tablets don't work

Feel rubbish this morning and just hope that he is right and this nothing serious. I suffer from anxiety and can't help wondering whether these symptoms are caused by my anxieties.

Sitting here feeling a little dizzy with some pins and needles in my hands. Getting really concerned about all this. Anyone experienced anything similar which proved to be anxiety rearing its head again? Or something else?

Hello,
I am going through the same thing now myself. Has been about 2 weeks for me but haven't yet seen the doctor about it. Planning to go this week. Mine is a feeling of dizziness that is a combination of feeling off balance/out of focus but my balance is actually fine. I have also been getting some tension headaches that come and go with some pain around my ears and eyes. I am thinking mine may be jaw/neck related as I did crash on my motorcycle about 1.5 years ago and had hit my chin badly. I had a CT scan after the crash since I was having the same dizzy feelings with headaches. Nothing was found. Anxiety can tense our neck and jaw muscles which can put pressure and inflame nerves around the ears and neck. This can cause dizziness from what my doctor told me. However, I still freak out about it and am thinking the worst so I understand your concerns.

Thanks CW. Dizziness is an awful feeling isn't it. My headaches seem to be moving around a bit and neck is one area that I always feel tense so that can't be helping.

Good luck at the doctors. Hope they put your mind at rest and sort things out for you.

I am currently going to a massage therapist who is focusing on my neck, shoulders, and jaw. It seems to be helping a little but she did say she felt huge knots at the base of my skull/neck and my jaw was very tight. Those can all cause dizziness and tension headaches (those move around and cause head pressure). I have been dealing with those the past few weeks as well. Maybe try the massage route and yes the dizziness is the worst especially when we are already so anxious about things. Hope you are feeling better!

This sounds like me!

I feel dizzy all the time, but my balance is actually fine, i just feel like my head is spinning. Also i am getting mild headaches at the front of my head, same "out of focus" feeling specially on my left eye, and nausea every now and then... i've had this before and it has resolved on its own, hopefully its the case for all of us this time again!

i had all of us this for quite a while and i still have tinnitus, but it 100% has calmed down now and its controllable.

the dizziness and lightheadedness does calm down with time.
