Hi,

I just realised that when I bent over, my heart goes into a very slow and slightly irregular rhythm. When I stand straight again, the rhythm goes back to normal again.

I'm not really feeling palpitations or anything, but I noticed it. So I tested it further by putting a finger to my wrist to measure my heartrate, and then bent my back so that it's leveled with the floor. My heart then suddenly beats very slowly but pretty regular.

Does this sound familiar? Maybe it is a normal thing, but I can't find any info on this. So, could you maybe help me out and try this for me?

Thanks!!

It's related to blood pressure and completely normal.

As Joe said it's down to the change in blood pressure. Also, bending at the waist can compress the vagus nerve, and that can result in irregular heartbeats.

Omg. I know this is an old post, but this has literally just saved so much sanity of mine... I’m stoked I could find something on this!!!! I literally thought I was going to die because of these symptoms. I’m ecstatic I could find something else on this forum relating to this.

If anyone else has anymore info or the same symptoms as this, PLEASE post back on this or message me.
