So I don't know exactly how common this is but I'm 24 and have reoccurring vertigo. It sucks. It only happens on one side, my left, and I bring it on when I tilt my head in a very certain position (Back and the slightly to the left). It feels like one of those fidget spinner things are inside of my head when i do it. I can go on about my daily activities without it bothering me but when I go to sleep and decide to shift to my left side, the room spins for like 5 seconds. The scary thing is....is that I had it back in like March for maybe 2 weeks and then it went away. But now its back for now clear reason. Now I know that anxiety doesn't cause vertigo so its not that. Anyone have any experience with this? I've used lavender oil behind my ears and that helps a little but doesn't get rid of it.

My boss gets it. She had it for about 3 weeks the first time so she went to a specialist. He diagnosed it as vertigo and said that some people just get it. She has an episode of it now and then. Sometimes they last for a few days and other times a few hours. She just has to put up with it. There is nothing she can take for it. She hates it.

Geez that sucks. I have the ear fullness at times too but thats not too bad. I think it may be an ear wax issue. I clean my ears pretty well but I went through this thing where I had this urge to stick pointy things in my ear. My last objects were these flat edge toothpicks. Im thinking that I might have shoved some wax to far deep and its perhaps causing a blockage.

I'm not sure, but I'm sick of it

I've had this on and off throughout the past 2 years. It could be benign positional vertigo (BPPV) which is what I'm pretty sure I had, it's basically vertigo brought on by moving your head in certain positions.

There's also a maneuver you can do to fix it but it's more reliable if done by a professional.

I don't think you should be sticking pointy things in your ears. What did the doctor say about the vertigo?

Lol yeah I kind of figured that one out on my own. It was kind of this guilty pleasure thing i had going on. And I went to the doc about it and he said it was BPPV. He also said that i had more wax in my left ear than in my right.

And yeah I tried the maneuver at home and it sort of worked the first time around.

I've had it and the Epley maneuver definitely helps, though sometimes you have to do it more than once. Youtube has good videos that demonstrate how to do it.
