Hard, painful mole

I noticed yesterday that a mole on my sideburn area felt sore to touch. Today, it's really hard. I've been Googling all day and read that a dramatic change doesn't signify Melanoma but I'm still freaking out. I'm ringing the doctor first thing tomorrow but with my surgery, you can't get in to see anyone without having a callback first and I just know they're all going to be taken by the time I finally get through on a Monday morning :weep::weep::weep:

Let us know what they say. A change like that, literally overnight, probably isn't anything, but better to be safe!

Thanks for the reply :-) Well my gp got me in straight away and said it looked absolutely fine. I'm not convinced though, so if it's still the same come next week, I'm going to go private to see a dermatologist.
