I have read many times that your mind shuts down to protect it self when under stress.leaving that numb bewildered type feeling. My question is how do get out of the shutdown mode and get your brain workng again. Any tips ? Thanks mark

Hi marksman10 I have had that too. on I found by just letting the storm pass on it's own is the best way like you say it's protecting you don't force it mate. May I ask what's brought this on? ATB Cheers

Depends on the severity of the shut down. I had it happen to me, took medication, got off the medication and work on my thoughts. Stay positive!
