I am still working through some weird neuro symptoms (getting over an ALS fear), and I came across this video. It's fascinating and I plan to buy her book. She's a neurologist who specializes in psychosomatic illness, and she gives some extreme examples of peoples' minds making them sick. I'm not trying to sell you on her book at all. I just thought her talk might help some of you who have the same problem I have. In this talk, and in some other materials of hers I've found, she discusses people going blind, winding up in wheel chairs, having seizures and having other debilitating symptoms that are of psychological, rather than physical, origin.
