It is not easy to find happiness in ourselves, and it is not possible to find it elsewhere.
Would anyone be able to tape the programme for me?
I would pay for the tape and postage.
Thanks

Kate , you can do listen again .
So when you get home log onto www.bbc.co.uk/radio2 and click on Jeremy Vine show and it replays the whole show
Does that help ??

It is impossible to get out of a problem by using the same kind of thinking that it took to get into it.

The overall take over message for people with anxiety wondering whether their obsessive thoughts are OCD is that OCD is based on obsessive thoughts that the sufferer has to try to counteract with a compulsion or ritual
eg - thinks the house may burn down - needs to check gas etc dozens of times and leads to calm.
Obsessive thoughts without the neutalizing compulsions is not generally OCD.
CBT is the gold standard of treatments and medication can help too.
Prognosis - good if willing to put in the effort to slowly overcome the issues.
