Thanks for that Terry, just what I wanted. Unfortunately it doesn't include Wales (typical).
I think I may pay for a course if not too expensive as getting desperate now

Or perhaps I am wrong, might just be the talking therapy thats in England. Although for the online courses it does say if available in your area so thats never a good sign! FearFighter looks like the best one but its costly.
Have any of you used it before or any other one?
Thanks

I would bare in mind what the NHS/NICE say about them, they are only considered as having evidence they can be as effective as face-to-face if they are supported.

I do know of one free online one called Panic Center. That does have a very small forum with it and it seems to be supported as they create threads on the forum about the modules.

I'm surprised Wales isn't covered.

Moodgym is also a free online system that will teach you the basics.

My GP recommended the SilverCloud programme, but unfortunately it's difficult for me to access as you have to conduct a telephone assessment before you can access it and I have a major phobia of phone conversations with strangers. It might come in useful for people who don't have this problem, though!

Hi

This is just a courtesy reply to let you know that your post was moved from its original place to a sub-forum that is more relevant to your issue.

This is nothing personal - it just enables us to keep posts about the same problems in the relevant forums so other members with any experience with the issues can find them more easily.

Thank you
yes I have seen the silver cloud and fear factor come up. I am currently waiting to hear back if I can get something for free.
That is a bummer for you, not been able to access it becasue of that initial phone call. Perhaps your GP could arrange it so you dont have to have that phone call then you could start the programme online yourself?

https://turn2me.org/ - This site has online sessions you can join most days and seems to be skype counselling too at a reduced fee.

https://www.nopanic.org.uk/ - This looks good. You pay 15 pounds to sign up then you get a mentor for 6 weeks who does CBT over the phone with you. Apparently its good and they push you out of your comfort zone. I am on a waiting list but should get a call in a week.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dare-Anxiety-Stop-Panic-Attacks

This is a book but once you nuy book you get access to an app and audio and a facebook group page where you can all help eachother as you all read and try practice the techniques in the book. Has some really good reviews and is affordable at 12 pounds

Anyway, hope this can help someone. Its what I am going to start with anyway

Have you looked at AnxietyUK? Once you pay a yearly joining fee you can access their sliding scale therapies. The tariffs are on their website.

They offer therapy via Skype too I think so you can choose from a wider range of therapists on their network.
