i recently read and heard from alot of ppl about the benefits of meditation and how it improves your physical and emotional health, and is specifically great for someone with anxiety.
so i googled how to go about it, but there are millions of ways to meditate, like with guided imagery, just breathing, or with a mantra etc.
when i start letting my thoughts just run- guess where it ends up taking me? of course, all my symptoms and anxiety, so i would love to know if anyone here knows of more specific way to meditate, specifically with health anxiety..

Try mindfulness.

Have a look at the thread in my signature which has some in, including courses.

With Mindfulness you tend to start with Mindfulness of Breath because it teaches you basics like how observe thoughts and induction methods into a calmer state. Then you move onto things like object handling, movement, even eating.

Meditation is a big area as you say. Mindfulness was taken from the more traditional meditation to make it a much smaller thing to try.
