or sometimes referred to as crossed laterality...

I have just been told that I have mixed laterality affecting both audio and optical sensory perception to quite a significant degree. There are quite a wide range of symptoms associated with this, including anxiety, obsession and depression, although everyone can be affected differently. There are also problems with cognitive processing and social relationships. On top of this, I've realised at 45 years of age, that I have tinnitus 24/7 - I always thought that hazy hum was normal until the audiologist told me differently.

So my question is, does anyone know anything about this condition and what treatment options may be available? There's certainly nothing under the NHS and I'm having problems finding clinical evidence to back up the general options I'm finding on the internet e.g. Tomatis.

Anyone with any experience? Thanks!
