Hi,
For a few months now I sometimes feel as though something is "catching" when I swallow, food or just saliva. Not all the time though. Some mild pain, almost like a cold when you have a sore throat but on one side. It feels like a swollen tonsil. I noticed a small yellow patch around my tonsil area/back of throats and I've seen two separate drs and been to each of them twice who said there was nothing of concern and appears to be normal glandular tissue. Can't help but think they're not seeing it :-(
I noticed it had got bad and then went away and now I'm focusing on it again it's flared back up. I think this yellow patch has gotten bigger but the drs don't seem worried and said they weren't concerned.
Why can't I be assured by visiting the dr? Every time I swallow I'm focusing on it and the mild discomfort that comes with it.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?
