I've been under general anaesthesia before for a tooth removal. I woke up absolutely fine. Loads of people have their wisdom teeth out with no problems and the chance of something serious happening is so tiny you don't need to worry about it at all. good luck :)

I have worked for an oral/maxillofacial surgeon and I've had my wisdom teeth removed. The doctor will not give you THAT much anesthesia that you will not wake from. This isn't open heart surgery, its just a couple of teeth.

Where in the world did you get the idea that people don't "wake up" from this? Please don't tell me it was Dr. Google!
