Urine Dipstick Results

A few weeks ago, I had a pretty bad UTI. I decided to purchase some urine dipsticks online, these are doctor office quality. I had been showing no blood in my urine but today I show small amounts of hemalozyed blood in urine. I am also having spotting from my period beginning. Do you think the blood may be from my period and I can not be too concerned unless blood remains following my period?

PS: throw the dipsticks away. Self testing will only serve to increase your anxiety as proven by your post.

Please throw away or give the dipsticks away. I had a pretty raging and stubborn uti recently and had to do everything in my power not to buy home tests. We could so easily misinterpret them and make the anxiety worse.

(I know what it's like and I know how tempting it is).
