Citalopram increase! Experience?

So i have been on 10mg cit for 3 months. Went back to the doctors today as everything is coming back and he was disgusted the other doctor kept me on 10 as he said i was too severe to even be started on that.
So i am now on 20 and in a few weeks 30 if i need it
The doctor said i shouldnt experience side effects like I did when i first started.
Im wondering if this is true? I have an interview for a job wednesday and dont want to mess up if the side effects will be awful again!!

Hi. I was on 10mg for 3 months too before increasing to 20mg. I didn't get any side effects from the increase and after a few weeks really noticed the difference. It gets better very gradually though so don't expect an immediate response. 10mg won't really do anything as 20mg is the lowest therapeutic dose. I've stuck with 20 too, been on it 14 months now
