Citalopram to sjw- how long a gap?

Hi,
I took my final citalopram 2 days ago after weaning down the dosage. I want to switch to St. John's wort but does anyone know how long a gap (if any) I'm meant to leave before starting it?

Citalopram has a half life of 35 hours.

If you used a standard pharmacokinetic calculation for a drug you would multiply this by 5 to get it to <5% which is classed as clinically insignificant. Multiply it by 7 and it should be 100% clear.

I would opt for safety and give it slightly longer as it's individual to the body and certain factors can increase/decrease clearance rates.

If in doubt, ask a pharmacist.
