Why does watching horror films not bother me much?

Intrusive thoughts tend to come when I watch horror films or something with violence in it but it doesn't seem to affect me as much as I'd think it would. It's only if something is particularly graphic then it just makes me feel really weird.
I like watching horror films, and it makes me worry if I like the violence, and that scares me.
I would never ever want to do anything from the films but it's like I can watch it and not be too affected, it just makes me feel a bit weird.

What does it mean, does it mean that I like it, that OCD isn't affecting me in that way?

The only horror film that really scared me was The Exorcist, there is something about that film maybe because it's very close to the truth. I don't think you liking horror films or the violence in them means anything, when i watch films i sometimes secretly root for the bad guys. Doesn't mean i endorse whatever they're doing.
