Hello,

I've posted a few times on here with regards to a small lump that comes and goes.
I had it looked by the ENT specialist and he said he'd try remove it.

I'm recovering from the surgery which occurred around the area of the soft palate on the left side. It's about day 3-4 post-op and I noticed that a little behind this area appears quite bruised. Like the area appears dark red/purple.

I'm starting to freak out since this wasn't there before.

The ENT said he'll see me in 2 weeks or so but I'm just kind freaking out that something is going wrong.

Did you call him and tell him it is bruised? Its probably normal from the surgery. The bump is gone.

Hello,

I don't have his number actually. He said he'd follow up with me in 1-2 weeks.
It looked bruised last night when I checked on it, i had a mini-freak out went to sleep and I recall waking up this morning and it looking better.

I checked just then (it's late night now) and it looks quite bruised?

Maybe it's just part of the healing process and from irritation from eating all day?

(Trying to be logical about it but freaking out).

I don't have his number actually.

With respect.. Do you know his name? The hospital the procedure was done? That is one thing you should Google. Look him up and call if you're that concerned.

Positive thoughts

Yes I do. I'll try arrange a call with him/the clinic tomorrow.

Thank you.

His information should be on your discharge papers. I'm sure they gave you a post surgery care sheet. Human tissue is fragile and its normal for bruising after a surgery.
