So I went for a routine eye test yesterday and they said I had pressure in my eye. The optician also sent a referral due to pressure on my optic nerve so I need to see an eye specialist. Also had to go back today to have the pressure checked more thoroughly.
Of course I panicked straight away. I kept talking about a brain tumour and I was so worried that the conversation with him seems a bit of a blur. The optician said I shouldn't worry and that he's 99% sure that it's nothing. If I didn't have a history of migraines he wouldn't be worried but as I do have a history with them he just wants to get it checked.
I am in full on panic mode. Telling my husband what I want to happen when I die.
I went back today for the pressure test and he said it was all fine. I asked him about the brain tumour stuff and he said it's very very rare and he's only ever seen 2 people that had a tumour in over 30 years of practice. He also said if there has been no mention of a tumor then not to worry.
Of course I'm still here worrying about it. It's all I can think about. Now googling brain tumours and think I have every symptom going.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
