Hi,
I hate to sound so silly but I have been worrying all day. I have had at first off and on lower left pain in my back just at the waist line.
Last week I have not felt well - stomach wise and I did not have the D___-
but I did have to go a lot of bowel movements and my stomach felt bloated and full of gas.
So today now that it is becoming more persistant and it is getting dark - night time worry, I am afraid there is something wrong with my bowels.

I have looked somethings up on the net and did me no good.
I would feel better if I knew it was muscular.
Please help me if you have had this and if anyone knows if this is a warning sign or if there is any internal organs there. I think my kidneys are further up.

Thanks.

Hiya
My advice is never look anything up on the net because its very easy to convince yourself you have every symptom for everything. It sounds like the pain in your back is musculaer from all the bowl movments. How long has this been going on? If you have been feeling unwell last week as well it might be worth talking to your doctor if things dont get better. It sounds like it could just be a bug or maby IBS.
Hope you feel better

sounds a lot like ibs to me. Which, is totally not dangerous, just a little uncomfortable. I have had those kinds of cramping pains also. I also freak out and assume something is terrible wrong... But they do always seem to go away on their own. Drink a lot of water, so if it is a bug you can just flush it out of your system.

Sounds similar to something I have been getting lately. Mine is mainly at night when I am lying down in bed....a pain just everso slightly below the waist on the left hand side. I've been having it for maybe 6 months for longer, it's not every night, just flares up from time to time. I assumed it was the hip joint (though I'm only 28!) but have been having bowel probs lately. I was diagnosed with IBS a couple of years ago; it still resurfaces from time to time.

It could be something like this you're having trouble with?
