my beautiful wife

yesterday i camehome from a walk with my eldest girl.i was in ripped jeans,a punk t.shirt and scruffy denim jacket.we got home around 6.20 and my beautiful wife informed me the taxi was at 7.15,"what taxi" was my reply!

she had secretly sorted out childcare and booked a posh restaurant for an evening!and what a time we had,talking and talking and laughing and smiling and feeling very safe in our happy marriage.we both got drunkish and when we got outside the place my beloved wife wept with happiness.i guess when you have young kids its all too easy to be slaves to the routine.
so anyway it was fab,brill,ace and a real success

i was so pleased to hear from you this morning and your wondeful night, im sooo happy for you. i really do mean it ade you do deserve all these good things and you really are a special person.

you cheered me up so much this morning i cant thank you enough for doing so.

Margaret, you are very thoughtful for doing this and i am glad you are happy to be able to spend such a great time with your husband, who has helped many on here and told us all about how much he loves you and the kids.

What a lovely thing love is - Im about to celebrate my silver wedding anniversary and my hubby is whisking me off to Devon to where we had our honeymoon 25 years ago - he can still look me in the eyes and tell me he loves me - despite 24 years of panic attacks and lots of tears and wobbles from me - which are still going on at times - Love really does conquer all.
