View Full Version : sore calf....worried about DVT

The other day I got a cramp/tightness in my calf. Feels like a pulled muscle. Two days later it still hurts, only when I walk. There is no swelling, heat or redness. The pain is pretty minor, more of a discomfort. I looked up calf stretches and of course saw something about DVT and now I'm worried about it. Im 29, active and a non smoker.

Im trying to be rational about it.

Rational = muscle strain from the cramp.

When I get a Charlie horse in my calf muscle, it takes days for the tightness/soreness to go away. Try a hot bath with Epsom salts :)
