Sister had mri that showed shadow on hip was called straightaway to tell her this and that her file was being passed to a surgeon. Since then nothing at all
Now a month down line we are trying to think it can't be too serious but worried too
Surely if there is no word
After a month it can't be too bad or am I just trying to convince myself ?

No news is usually good news with doctors but I think you also deserve some explanation as anyone would worry. Perhaps asking the GP who can follow it up or reassure you about what it could mean would be a good course of action?

Hospitals can take a while to send out appointment letters for non urgent things.
