View Full Version : Fluxotine 40mg feeling worse now.

I having been on here in a few months because I felt better but after slowly going from 40mg of citalopram to 40mg fluxotine....im into my 3rd week on 40 and feel awful but my doctor suggested going back to 30mg except they're tablets instead of capsules....has anybody had any similar experiences and has anybody switched from capsules to tablets?

Can't sleep focus/function. Heat sensitivity no appitiete nausea jittery the whole nine.

Unfortunately, these side-effects can develop when increasing antidepressant doses. They usually diminish within a week or two, but sometimes can take a little longer with fluoxetine because of its very long half-life. Dropping back to 30mg should reduce their severity, but only time will tell if the dose will be enough.
