What if...

Instead of praying for healing from a brain tumor that I haven't been diagnosed with yet, I pray for healing from this anxiety? Because even if I am diagnosed with a brain tumor, who wants to spend their last days in a tangled ball of anxiety?

What if...

Instead of praying to have MS instead of a brain tumor (eye roll), I pray for healing from this anxiety that's led me wayy too far down the rabbit hole?

What if...

Instead of praying for more time with my children, I pray for strength to silence the lies for a moment and get on the floor and play with my kiddos?

What ifs can be amazingly powerful.

Here's a tool used in therapy for positive "what ifs":

https://psychologytools.com/what-if.html

That's exactly what you seem to be doing and it's worth it as you are challenging your thoughts. The subconscious will learn through observation that these fears have no value the more you do stuff like this. :yesyes:

You will. But only their overly negative skew. Otherwise they serve a valuable process to us. "What if" that bear will eat me rather than accept a nice pat on the head? :winks:
