Flying tomorrow, fearing thunderstorms

I'm flying to Newark tomorrow. I just checked the weather forecast for tomorrow and they say thunderstorms in spots or stray thunderstorms. I'm landing at around 7pm and I'm fearing I'll hit some severe turbulance on approach.
Does anyone have experience with this?

Hey I just flew alone for the first time.

For some reason I find it exciting rather than scary even though I do have severe anxiety! I am 28 Female. Just try and remember those planes fly themselves and are well equipped for the weather :) it's also safer than being in a car!

I know it's scary thinking of flying but it can also be fun and exciting, try downloading some podcasts or guided meditations to listen to while onboard. Good luck :hugs:
