Having a relapse at the moment.

Getting lots of really severe tension where I find it almost impossible to relax my muscles. Is this dangerous? I end up so light headed I feel like I will faint or pass out.

Hi,
I don't know if it's dangerous but I get this too, especially in my upper back neck and shoulders. I keep getting lightheaded also. I am so achy but find it impossible to relax. I find walking helps but I find that difficult when I feel lightheaded.

I really don't feel like I'm going to make it through this time.

I am exactly the same, Its so draining and especially when you get the dizziness and lightheaded feeling, I often find its on one side and on that side my shoulder is much higher than the other due to how tense it is. Have you been to the GP about this?

Yeah I saw the GP but I don't think they ever really get how tense we feel.

I hope it starts to subside

No medication given? or techniques to help with tension?

Yeah I'm taking Sertraline. I was stupid and was missing lots of doses.

They've given me the progressive muscular relaxation thing but I just find it really difficult at minute.
