Found a piece of plastic in my muffin

So I got a muffin at mcdonalds and found a peice of plastic in my last bite now I'm worried I swolled some but I spat the peice out am I okay?

You're fine. Even if you swallowed it, it won't hurt you. It will pass right through your system.

I have swallowed plastic before. You don't even want to know how much my dogs have consumed over the years. All has been well.
