Accidentally inhaled some of cologne? (Panicking about dying or lung problems?! HELP)

Hi all, good evening! I'm afraid that I have accidentally inhaled some of the cologne my brother was spraying. I covered my nose with my shirt and tried my best not to breathe in. But couldn't. (Lol yeah) Now, I'm nervous and don't know what goin to happened next? Has anybody experienced this? Help!

Body scents have been around since Biblical times and maybe even before. People were pretty stinky long ago ;) When someone puts cologne or after shave on, it's making direct contact with the skin and as one who wears it, you're inhaling your own smell from it a lot more than someone else.

Think about this fact and answer the question...

If inhaling the scent of cologne or aftershave was harmful, would it be sold?

Lol, I read the back of can and on the warning label it said 'inhaling may be harmful or fatal' of course I start to panic but yeah, it would. Maybe I just got kind of worried and had thought about some many crazy things. Thank you for that answer! @fishmanpa

They put those warnings on the cans because people were using aerosols to get high. This resulted in deaths.

But they were spraying down their throats which means a concentrated volume. So, it's nothing like what you can breathe in the air.

If you have a breathing condition, such as asthma, it can be a trigger. But it's more for those with more severe asthma. I have asthma and aerosols can tighten my breathing. This is why health & safety in workplaces also don't like spray being used just in case.

If you do have asthma, use your Reliever inhaler if you need to or deal with it like any other trigger.
