quitting a job?

I was off from work because I had a bad illness, but before i got this illness, i really didn't like work, like it made me suicidal, bad anxiety etc.

And they wanted a sick note, which I can get, just takes longer, but has anyone quit their job because they don't like it/for anxiety?

I haven't quit my job I'm off sick. I think my job though caused a lot of stress which contributed to my bad anxiety now, lots of changes in one year etc. I love my job but hate the politics.
