diphenhydramine Causing anxiety

I wasn't able to sleep all night so I ended up taking those sleeping pills that have diphenhydramine it made me knock out but when I woke up I had horrible anxiety and have been shakey and anxious all day has anyone else gotten this by taking those pills?

I often take it at very high dosages but doesn't cause anxiety for me, just makes me feel horrible the next day
