incontrollabe muscle spasm and anxiety

does anyone suffer from muscle spasms as a symptom of anxiety? mine can happen anywhere on my body its kind of like a mini electric shock! or is it just me? :)

I get a lot of muscle spasm, twitching and shakiness. It is mostly centred at the top of my right arm, but I get it a bit elsewhere too.

I wouldn't desribe it as a mini-electric shock though!

I occassionally get massive muscle spasms in my chest, that sometimes seem to go right up into my head. I suppose they are like an electric shock. Very scarey at the time, but it does seem to be an anxiety symptom & I'm gradually learning to stay calm when it happens and not worry too much.

It's a bit hard to tell with me as I do seem to get the odd sudden shift of my arms or body, especially when I think about getting more anxious or having a panic attack, but I think the sort of sudden spasm I have is just a one-off thing since it doesn't happen too often.

However, I can shake alot like a tower of jelly when I get a panic attack, or feeling very shy.
